Car hire in Spain is cheap due to the strong competition, specially in Andalucia or the Costa del Sol. The major car rental companies in Spain have offices in most Andalucian cities and at the major airports such as Malaga Airport. If you’re a tourist, it’s advisable to reserve a rental car before arriving, particularly during peak periods.
Many visitors rent a car in Spain, the mayority of them in Andalucia. Andalusca is situated in the South of Spain. The region is surrounded by the Mediterranenan Sea (Cadiz, Malaga, Granada and Almeria) and the Atlantic Ocean (Cadiz and Huelva). There are 8 provinces in Andalucia; Almeria, Cadiz, Cordoba, Granada, Huelva, Jaen, Malaga and Sevilla, each with its unique attraction; sun and sand, rural destinations, snow and centers of cultural importance.
To rent a car in Spain you must produce a valid driving licence. If more than one person will be driving the rental vehicle, all the drivers’ names must be included on the car rental agreement.
