In our opinion this will probably lead to an increase in the prices in the next couple of days, because with less vehicles available demand may exceed supply, specially in the busy summer months.

There’s a seasonal shortage of rental cars every summer anyway, but due to the fact, that there will now be 15.000 vehicles less on the market some holidaymakers may not be able to get a rent a car at all.

Shortages are most prevalent in popular holiday destinations in Spain, like Malaga, Alicante, Mallorca where our supplier Aurigacrown Car Hire was operating until now.
