The Route des Vins invites you to explore this outstanding heritage. It winds through the hills, wine-growing estates and market towns, from Marlenheim in the north to Thann in the south. It was created in 1953 and has been highly successful. This year, for its 50th Anniversary, the Conseil Interprofessionnel des Vins d'Alsace, local councils and wine-growers have organised major wine-themed events. On Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th April, all the Alsatian wine cellars will be opened, as a special event. There'll be plenty of entertainments – and of course tastings!
