Hispacar is a broker and not a car hire company. The rental agreement will be between you and the local car rental agent. The terms and conditions of the contract of every supplier are available on our website when you select the vehicle. It is sole responsibility of the car hire company to provide you with the vehicle rented through this website.

Although our website is normally available 24 hours a day, access may be suspended temporarily for reasons beyond our control. Hispacar cannot be held liable if for any reason the website is unavailable at any time.


In the event of a dispute between Hispacar and you, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the car rental. Any booking you make on this website is made with a local car hire company and not with Hispacar. Hispacar has no responsibility or liability in respect of the terms of your contract with the car rental supplier or any other problems between you and the car rental supplier.

You are bound by and deemed to have accepted the terms and conditions of the relevant car rental supplier when you make a booking through our website.

Any travel information on this website should not be taken as a recommendation from Hispacar. You should use your own discretion when making use of the information on this website.


This website may contain links to resources or websites operated by parties other than Hispacar. These links are provided for your reference only and do not imply any endorsement of the material on such websites. Making a Booking

Hispacar operates globally and offers three types of payment models:

  • You pay a deposit at the time of booking and the balance when you collect the car
  • You pay the complete amount at the time of booking and only pay for fuel and optional extras at the time of arrival.
  • Hispacar will make the reservation without receiving any payment and you will pay the car hire company the entire cost of the booking when you collect the vehicle

The exact payment model is usually established by the local rental company and you will be informed of any upfront payment during the booking process. At all times you are responsible for payment of any additional services you may request, or any other service fees applied by the local supplier.

To make a booking on our website you must use a credit card. Occasionally we may also accept alternative payment types such as debit cards or Paypal. Before booking a car make sure to check the payment types accepted by the car hire company as not all suppliers will accept these alternative payment types.

If you need to alter your booking Hispacar must receive clear information of the precise details. Every effort will be made to meet your demands, but Hispacar cannot guarantee that the local suppliers will honor such alterations.

If you would like to extend your booking after the vehicle has been collected you must pay directly to the local company. Hispacar is unable to offer you a refund if you return the car early.

On collection of your vehicle you must present a full driver’s license from your country of origin, a valid passport or ID card and a credit card in the driver’s name. If you fail to present these documents, the company may refuse to hand over the car and no funds paid will be reimbursed to you. In the event of a flight cancellations or delay arrival it is the customer’s responsibility to contact the car hire company. If you do not collect the rental car at the agreed date and time, no funds paid will be reimbursed.

Confirming a Booking

Hispacar will issue the confirmation for each booking confirmed by the local supplier. The confirmation does not include charges for additional services or details of the service charge or taxes charged by the car rental supplier or additional services you may have requested like extra drivers, GPS devices etc.

If you check the details of the booking and find any discrepancies, you should immediately inform Hispacar of the exact details of such discrepancy. The terms and conditions of the local car hire company are available on our website and we advise you to read them carefully.


In case you need to cancel a reservation you should do so through the Hispacar website. Additional fees may apply if you cancel with the car rental supplier directly.

With most car rental suppliers a cancellation is free of charge, but occasionally an administration fee may apply. The cancellation policy can be found in the terms and conditions of the local car hire company available on our website and on your confirmation and we advise you to read them carefully.

You are responsible to cancel any other ancillary product provided by third parties that you may have booked together with your rental car.

Cancellation requests after the start date of the booking are not accepted. Hispacar will not be liable for any monetary losses due to exchange rates differences.

Hispacar makes every effort to ensure that quoted prices are accurate. Nonetheless Hispacar reserves the right to amend the price quoted at the time a booking is made in the event of a manifest or patent error in the price quoted.

In the event of a patent error in the price quoted the customer will be entitled to a full refund. Prices displayed in the currency chosen by the consumer may vary from the exchange rates used by your credit card company. Hispacar cannot be held responsible for such discrepancies.


Complaints are accepted in writing only and must be received within 30 days after the vehicle has been returned to the supplier. Complaints received after this period will not be processed.


The booking process is secured by Verisign. If unauthorised charges appear on your statement for the credit card or debit card used on this website, Hispacar shall not be liable in respect of any damage or loss connected with said use.


All of the information within this website are protected by copyright and is only available to you for personal purposes. You may only use website and its content for personal, non-commercial purposes. You do not have permission to modify, copy, reproduce or display any of the above for personal or business use unless you have received written consent from Hispacar to the contrary.


This website is made available to users as it is and Hispacar makes no warranties or representations that the technology supporting it will be without fault or defects or the information posted on this booking engine is free from infection by viruses or anything else with contaminating or destructive properties. Hispacar accepts no liability for any effects from harmful applications such as viruses, trojans, or any other events which corrupt the integrity of this website.


Hispacar reserves the right to change these Terms and Conditions without prior notice and without liability to you, any other user or any third party. Each time you access the website you should check these Terms and Conditions for any changes. Our suppliers may also change their terms and conditions upon which they make their vehicles available and you should check these every time you book. Hispacar is not responsible and shall have no liability if the terms and conditions of the supplier have been changed since the last time you checked them.


The Terms and conditions of this website are governed by the laws of Spain. The courts of Spain shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all disputes arising between you and Hispacar relating to your use of this website.
